The biggest event in ehealth takes place in Amsterdam this year. The EU eHealth Week 2016 is the place to share the latest developments in the field of ehealth and to improve the quality and safety of health care across Europe. eHealth Week 2016 is organised by the Dutch Ministry of Health as part of the Dutch Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the European Commission and HIMSS Europe. This year’s educational programme will focus on three main themes: Empowering People, Trust & Standards and Social Innovation & Transition.
eHealth Week 2016
The eHealth week starts the 8th of June and ends the 10th of June. During the event, visitors can listen to presentations and panel discussions or participate in workshops. More than 2000 international visitors in the field IT and healthcare are expected.
SME EU eHealth Competition
A yearly recurring and integral part of the eHealth Week is the SME EU eHealth competition, where innovative eHealth solutions compete to call themselves the most innovative of Europe. Last year, Minddistrict won an honourable bronze medal, after being selected as finalist out of 110 entries.
