What is ‘Learn to relax’ about?

Many people who have started to work towards change or who are going through a difficult time experience higher levels of stress. With this short self-help module, users can take the first steps towards learning to relax in a healthy way. First, the user focuses of becoming more aware of their tension by practising with the body scan, a mindfulness technique. They read tips for practising with relaxation and are introduced to two techniques: a breathing exercise and progressive muscle relaxation. The user is guided through the techniques with video clips and audio exercises. The last part of the module focuses on habit formation and the importance of practising. Finally, they reflect on what they have learnt throughout the short self-help module.
